Leaning

                 Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

When I was a little girl my parents took me to a swimming pool nearby our house. I had no idea how to swim or even tread water so I had these cute little "floaty" things I had 2 wear...... I had a lot of fun chillin in the kiddey pool with my floaties while my mom and dad went and swam in the deep end. At certan times the life guards would blow their whistles and that meant it was time for "Adult swim". Adult swim meant that kids could only stay if an adult was holding them..... So, instead of being bored waiting for an hour for adult swim to be over I went over to where my daddy was swimming and asked if he would swim with ME. then he backed up farther into the water told me to take off my floaties and....... jump. Now I was little, not stupid. I knew full well that if he didnt catch me I would go under, with another foot or two of water over my head! I also realized that this jump would require me to jump like 2ft in. LOTS of room 2 miss. I looked at him and he said the word thst is the theme of today... He said "TRUST me"

How easy is that verse? I mean if we were to put it into modern words I think it would say "HEY, Guess what, the life you think you know now could go up in flames tomorrow so dont try and figure things out with ur stupid human understanding. Gods got it, and you should pay attention to that!! If you do, even when life seems to be falling apart you can know that you are doing His will."
I have found that trusting in God is a HUGE necessity for a bearer of His name.  I mean even when the situation you're in seems foolish to trust in something you have no control over. Our heavenly father is reaching out his arms and saying "Trust me"

At the edge of the pool I realized that when I trusted my daddy before he hadn't let me down, so with that knowledge I took the leap with fear and nervousness i was soaring towards his arms. Eyes squeezed closed I landed into my loving fathers arms. As soon as I landed I grabbed tightly to his neck. It was the best feeling in the world, to know that he once again didn't let me down.

I dont know what you are going through reader, but let me tell you. no matter what it is, its totaly worth being scared poopless and soaring towards the arms of our heavenly father. He hasnt let you down this far and He never will...

LOVE U ALL!!
Becky
