The old Hymn goes, " This world is not my home I'm just a passing through,  My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue,  The angels beckon me from heaven's open door, And I can't feel at home in this world anymore..."  How excited do you get about that?! No matter what you are going through in life it will soon pass and then we will be with our father in glory! that's all I got... ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO COOL THO!!! just think about it this next week. whatever you find yourself going through, you, as a believer of Jesus Christ as your personal savior, have a great eternity to look forward to!!

What a great reminder! I know as I was starting out my wifely duties I would catch myself looking for my husbands recognition for all that I had done instead of doing it out of love for him. I would make dinner and want  him to applaud everything I made, even though a lot of what I made was out of a box. But as a Christian wife, this put big red flags up for me because the Bible says in Colossians 3:23 "Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men" I had to teach myself that tho he may not always notice, I need to continue to do my work for God regardless. and I am happy to report that when I stopped looking for my husbands praise, I started getting it. I guess it really is all about the attitude. :)
